There are numerous superstars who are advertised and scheduled to make an appearance at the event. We’ll see legends collide when Triple H comes face to face with The Undertaker for the Last Time Ever, and we’ll watch The Shield goes against the Dogs of War.

Interestingly, no title from Raw will be defended at the pay-per-view which is very unusual. All the superstars holding titles from the red brand will be involved in six-person tag team matches which will eliminate the chances of any title changing hands.

However, it’s surprising to note that some top superstars from the WWE will be missing out on the event. This is especially surprising with the Evolution PPV just around the corner, and WWE’s need to build a few feuds to take to that PPV.

We know that there is a 14-hour time difference between New York and Melbourne, and a flight time of almost 24 hours. These two factors will be the reason why five of the following top wrestlers and one manager will probably be unable to make it to the grand event.

#1 Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville

Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville have been working hard to make their way to the top of the women’s roster. The duo initially made an impact on the main roster by forming a team with Paige called Absolution, and the trio went on a face-hunt as heels.

After Paige was forced to retire from in-ring competition due to a career-ending injury, the both Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville have found themselves somewhere between the mid and lower cards, just fighting to stay relevant on the blue brand.

Both the superstars are currently not being used for big events and pay-per-views, and it seems like they won’t even be a part of the roster that will be in Australia. Both women were advertised to be a part of the New York Comic Con, and it seems like they won’t be traveling to down under to join the rest of the roster.

#2 Bayley

The serial-hugger is another superstar who seems to be missing out on the major PPV in Australia. Bayley is one of the top female superstars in the company at the moment, and it’s really confusing as to why she wasn’t even on the poster for the Super Show-Down advertisements.

Bayley too was a part of the New York Comic Con, and it seems like she won’t be going to Australia with her fellow female superstars. Even though she wasn’t booked in any matches for the event, the WWE usually takes superstars along for promotions and for the fans to build future appearances.

#3 Finn Balor

Finn Balor seems to have fallen into the bad books of the WWE Creatives. He’s a star attraction and one of the best in-ring performers currently. However, he’s being thrown into mid-card feuds with Baron Corbin and was given a quick rematch for the Universal Championship he had to give up earlier, which shows that he isn’t being considered for anything great at the moment.

It was already surprising to note that he wasn’t a part of the Hell in a Cell pay-per-view on September 16. Once again, it seems like he won’t be a part of a major PPV as he was present at the New York Comic Con on October 4, and the time difference between the two cities along with the travel time will not allow him to reach Melbourne on time.

Even though Balor was advertised on the posters for the Super Show-Down, it seems like the star player will be missing yet another major event for the company.

#2 Sasha Banks

Sasha is another superstar who can be seen on the WWE Super Show-Down promotional posters and advertisements. However, she wasn’t booked in any matches for the event even though The IIconics and Asuka and Naomi will be involved in a tag-team match.

Sasha was present at the New York Comic Con on October 4 and is involved in the promotion of the event from the WWE’s side. This means she too won’t have enough time to make it to Melbourne on time for the event, possibly a major reason for why she hasn’t been booked in a match.

Sasha too was not a part of any matches at Hell in a Cell or SummerSlam which was a big blow to the company as they focus on building towards the Evolution PPV from here on.

#1 General Manager – Paige

The General Manager of the blue brand could also be missing from the show on Saturday. Just like the five superstars mentioned before, Paige is also a part of the New York Comic Con, which means she will be unable to make it to Melbourne due to the time difference and the flight duration.

Could that be the reason why Shane McMahon is scheduled to make an appearance at the event? We will find out very soon. However, it’ll be a big disappointment if the bombshell manager isn’t a part of the roster at such a major event.
