This patch introduces the Slaughter Docks board, 10 new emotes, champion card backs and Guardians Powder Monkey and Baley. All of these will be purchasable in the store for premium currency. Seven card backs will be available for those that complete a region’s road map.

Logging in for the first seven days will grant you rewards like capsules and expedition tokens. Logging in all seven days will net you a Ferjlord-themed starter deck and Ashe to go along with it. You’ll also be given the Moonstruck Poro Guardian if your account has logged into the game before May 8 at 3 a.m. EST.

Alongside the card expansion, Runeterra is also changing how minions on a full board works. Before, you couldn’t play a minion if you already had six minions. After the patch, you can now choose a minion to get rid of and replace it with something new, though their Last Breath abilities don’t activate.

Legends of Runeterra New Cards

There are six new keywords getting introduced with the Rising Tide expansion, with four of them being unique to Bilgewater:

Attune: When I’m summoned, refill one (1) spell mana. Scout: The first time only Scout units attack each round, ready your attack. Vulnerable: The enemy can challenge this unit, forcing it to block. Plunder: A card triggers its plunder ability when played if you damaged the enemy Nexus this round. Deep: I have +3|+3 once your deck has had 15 or fewer cards left. Toss: Obliterate X non-champion cards from the bottom of your deck.

All of the expansion’s cards haven’t been revealed yet, but we do know what’s coming. Maokai, Twisted Fate, Miss Fortune, Nautilus, Fizz, Swain, Lee Sin and Gangplank are all making their wondrous debut into the CCG. Each of these champions offers a unique spin on the classic characters we’ve gotten to know in League of Legends. Lee literally kicks enemy champions into the Nexus and TF replaces Anivia as the most consistent board clear in a champion.

Here are all the revealed champions in Legends of Runeterra so far.
